I'm pumped!

I'm so tired this morning. I have the energy of a slug.

The reason for my low energy today is a direct result of a battle with Apple. I'm so tired of their attitude. I find them to be arrogant and their customer service is incredibly lacking.

It all started when we downloaded the new IOS7 software, recommended by Apple. As soon as we installed the software, the wifi no longer worked. Prior to the installation, the wifi worked perfectly. Afterward, the wifi only worked if I held it within six inches from the router.

So, I started my weekend journey with AT&T, who were most helpful. Their representatives were offering great customer support, but Apple was not. So, I was forced to take the phone into Simply Apple, in a mall near here. They were friendly, but offered no solution, other than spending $150 to get another phone on a trade in. I argued, to no avail, that it was their new software that was causing the problem. They told me that because we were out of warranty, they wouldn't do anything about it.

So, not wanting to pay anything to Apple ever again, for products or services, I found a kiosk downstairs in the mall that took care of us. We traded in the phone, an 8 GB phone, for one that was 32 MB, works great for only $127. They were courteous, professional and the customer service was world class.

So, no more Apple products, even though AT&T, because Apple has them on such a short leash, are without solution. They even conferenced Apple into our conversation, but even that didn't work. Ten hours on the phone got me nowhere. I reset everything I possibly could, closely following Apple's protocol to the letter, doing everything twice, mind you I had already performed the exact same tasks twice with AT&T.

So, the bottom line for me is, no mac phones, Ipads, Apple TV or laptops. I don't care how good the products are, if I can't depend on service after the sale, the products are of no use to me. I think I will start a new company called Orange. Every item will be colored orange and my slogan will be, "Every product has appeal"!

See you tomorrow.
