Television today is filled with violence and foul language, and that's just the fight over the remote.
In my house, my wife controls the remote. I think it's because she likes to watch recordings of "The View", which she knows I would never turn on.
I like Whoopie Goldberg and Elizabeth Hasselbeck. They actually add content and value to the show. Joy Bahar is a comedian with very limited knowledge on most of the "Hot Topics". She pushes a liberal agenda, which is fine, but Whoopie is also a liberal, but understands the details of issues and listens openly to Elizabeth's conservative views.
Elizabeth knows her stuff. She has enough factual information to put Bahar to shame. Sheri is a comedian and actress who also has no knowledgeable perspective.
Barbara Walters thinks her agenda is the only one that matters, and since she is the executive producer and creator, it's rare to see anyone challenge her. The show is interesting, but certainly wouldn't be my first choice.
I love "The King of Queens" reruns, along with "Everybody Loves Raymond", "Friends" and "Seinfeld". Yes, I've seen them all, but they still make me laugh, and with my condition, comedies are good.
"Mike & Molly", "Psych" and "The Big Bang Theory" are the current comedies I like.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to grab the remote while I can.
See you tomorrow.
