Eye witness

Yesterday, I was in an Apple store when it was robbed. Police talked to me for quite a while because I was an iWitness.

I don't know if Apple will remain the juggernaut it has been over the years, but they have a huge following of die hard fans. Is the Iphone as popular as it was a few years ago? Phones like Samsung 3 G III is extremely popular and is picking up steam everyday.

At this time, the Iphone 5 is still the front runner by far, but then again who cares? I like my Samsung G III, while my wife loves her Iphone. We've never argued about our phones, we just use them.

Ipads, Kindle, there are more than 30 choices of tables to choose from. It's crazy! That may be why the many styles of Ipads are on the market. When consumers get confused, it's easier to head for the Apple Store and buy the one you like most.

I use a paper tablet. Cheap, easy to use and no instructions. Sure, there are not as many bells &  whistles, but as long as have a pen or pencil, I'm in business. Plus, I don't have to pay someone $30 per month to activate it, and then pay extra fees for more features.

If I want to play music while using my tablet, I play it on my phone or cd player.  How novel. If I need a larger screen, I have a laptop. Sure, I suppose the laptop is not as cool as a tablet, but it's light weight, and the screen is always protected.

I love technology, but I hate clones which muddy the waters in the marketplace that confuse the consumers, like me. I'm afraid to buy, because I'm sure that if I do, there will be another one that has more features and benefits than mine, rendering my new tablet obsolete by the time I get it home.

The Pope is resigning right before my eyes, and I'm focusing on technology. That's how big this stuff is. Tomorrow, the resignation will be yesterday's news, but technology moves forward no matter what.
Technology rules all. Sequestration? Who cares? There are no demonstrations, no crying out by the American people. We just use our technology to play games, listen to music, check email, Skype and watch television shows. All is well.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to watch the congressional blow hards give their own selfish perspectives on my phone.

See you tomorrow.
