Merry Christmas?

Merry Christmas to those I love and/or can tolerate.

I don't know about you, but I seem to be contacted by people I really don't care for. The problem is that you have to pretend you're glad they contacted you,  so the cycle starts all over again.

I'm not foolish enough to think that I am probably that guy to someone. I'll probably never know.

Once, I was in line at the customer service area to exchange a gift one ofv these people had given me, unaware the individual was two spots behind me. I made some lame excuse about an aunt needing surgery and booked it.

Popcorn tins are the items that are the most interesting to me. There's no more effective way to say "I really don't want to buy anything for you,  but I feel obligated to do so. So if you got one this year...

I wad doing s Corporate Christmas party and I did that joke. The employees nearly fell off their chairs,  laughing hard. One of them said "That's what our owners gave us." Oops.

I think these tins are like fruitcake. They are purchased, but never for the purchaser. They're given to others, that we don't like.

So, I wish you s very merry Christmas, unless you got a fruitcake or popcorn tin.

See you tomorrow.
